1
Sign up
Create an account with email and password (12+ characters), or continue with Google or GitHub. Enterprise teams can sign in through their identity provider where SSO is enabled.
2
Create your organization
Give your organization a name. The name becomes your team’s subdomain, like
acme.livingcontext.ai, and availability is checked as you type. If a teammate already created an organization, ask them for an invitation instead — see Organizations.3
Connect GitHub or GitLab
The setup wizard asks you to connect either GitHub or GitLab. You only need one — this is where your documentation repository lives. No repo? No problem. Use “Start with a LivingContext workspace” in the first step and LivingContext creates a private, pre-seeded docs repo for you — try everything now and move to your own repo later.
4
Pick a documentation repository
Select at least one repository to hold your docs. Everything the agents write lands here as Markdown files, so you keep full ownership and history.
5
Connect Salesforce (optional)
Connect a Salesforce org so agents can ground docs in your real metadata. Salesforce uses your own Connected App, added on Connections — you can skip this now and set it up later from Connections.
6
Explore your docs
Click Enter your workspace to land on Home. Open Docs to browse the pages in your repository, organized by the file tree in your repo.
7
Install the browser extension
Create an extension key in Settings → Browser extension, then install the LivingContext browser extension to capture workflows directly from your browser. See Capture.
8
Capture your first guide
Start a capture, click through a workflow in Salesforce (or any web app), and stop the recording. The extension turns your clicks and screenshots into a step-by-step guide, with sensitive data redacted at capture time.
9
Review it as a change request
Published captures arrive as a change request — a reviewable draft with a full diff. Edit steps, screenshots, and text before anything reaches your repo.
10
Merge
Approve and merge the change request. The doc is committed to your repository and appears in Docs immediately.
